«I’ll be honest: at first I was rather skeptical. I had tried in the past several ready-made dishes and had not convinced me for many reasons, first of all the final quality. «The practical trays can be stored in a refrigerator in a compact and tidy way. They are perfect for a meal on the spot but also to take away. Each dish is regenerated in a few minutes and is consistent in the result, and these are essential aspects, as well as knowing exactly how many portions you have in the room: you are always ready and reduce practically to zero the margin of error, you are more efficient and have less waste and scrap».
Another key point is shelf life
«When we visited the production plant of Villa Food, we got to know the HPP technology (high pressure cold treatment) and vacuum cooking. These are technologies that can really change the organizational and work model of a food company. Keeping products longer without compromise on taste and quality has allowed us to reduce kitchen urgency, improve purchasing planning and stock management. The dishes we buy have a shelf life of 120 days, an exceptional durability for our sector».
